This video provides an introduction to Setout using an Emlid Reach RS2 base station and RS2 rover with the Reachview 3 app.

This was filmed during real work for a client, who is rehabilitating a tailings’ storage facility at an abandoned tin mine, inside the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, and adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

Emlid Reach RS2 have been instrumental in:

• establishing benchmarks using static observations (RINEX post-processed with AUSPOS)

• conducting RTK survey of Ground Control and Quality Check points for aerial photogrammetry surveys

• collecting RINEX logs for LiDAR and Photogrammetry PPK workflows

• collecting terrain surfaces to inform engineering redesign and volumetric calculations
